A distinctly attractive Caucasian known as Shulver Kazak in distressed condition with colorful fields featuring four diamond shaped medallions in vertical axis. Within each of these medallions there is a smaller diamond lattice. The runner is framed with a beautiful border in ivory and a rust guard border.
This runner has extensive reweave at one end but the rest of the rug was left alone with considerable wear. Ends have been secured for longevity but both sides are in original form with delightful multicolor bindings. All dyes are organic, wool is hand-spun and well pounded. Estimated time to make this Kazak is about 1300 hours!
