This exquisite Kurdish bag face features 15 small hexagonal designs, intricately depicting an eagle perched atop a tree. Surrounding this captivating scene are 13 semi-hexagons, some adorned with matching patterns, while others showcase floral and tree motifs. An indigo border frames the composition, embellished with two human figures on either side and various symbolic emblems representing good fortune and spirituality.
Remarkably well-preserved, this bag face has no restorations, retaining its original sides and ends. The wool is hand-spun, and all dyes are derived from organic elements. With fine knotting and meticulous craftsmanship, it is estimated that this piece required approximately 200 hours to complete.
