A very handsome Persian Heriz featuring a terracotta/rust field decorated with a medallion and surrounded with four corners of beautiful green and navy blue border. The background of the rug is designed with many geometric devices and the border decorated with flowers and foliage.
The durability of Heriz rugs is well known due to the construction of Turkish knots which require double weft. The condition of this Heriz is exceptional with no restorations and original sides and ends. Dyes are all natural and wool is of superb quality.
