Classic Kashan rug with a floral design, featuring an ivory field. The ivory field is decorated with six beautiful flower and leaf arrangements in a variety of vibrant colors (rose, blue, red, tan, green, and brown) surrounding an oval medallion. The rug is framed by a main border with leaves and flower motif in dark blue and two guard borders in red. Notice the four lovely bouquets of flowers on the corners.
This rug is in excellent condition woven with soft and well pounded wool. It has a very strong construction both in foundation building and pile knotting. Estimated time to hand make this rug is about 600 hours.
