This handsome Heriz carpet is decorated with three hexagon shaped medallions in bright orange. There is a smaller hexagon medallion on each of the large one, two with indigo blue, and the one in the middle is grayish blue. The rug is framed with three narrow borders with different shades of orange.
This Heriz carpet is in very good condition without restorations and in full pile. The sides are original and the fringe at the ends is slightly uneven, but was left alone to preserve its novelty. Wool is hand spun and well pounded and woven with knots that are very tough and long lasting. Estimated time to hand make this rug is about 2000 hours!
