This handsome tribal, hand knotted, Heriz is decorated with a hexagon shape medallion in pale orange and two anchors designed with a variety of ornaments. The medallion is confined in a larger hexagonal panel in indigo blue with many enhancing devices such as flowers, stars, and eight dogs! The rug is framed with a blue border and two guard borders one in tan and one in red.
This rug has a full pile and is in a very good condition. There are few tiny worn spots (pictured), but no repairs. All sides and ends are original. The wool material that is used to make the rug is hand spun and well pounded and the knots are very strong. The estimated time to hand make this rug is about 1400 hours.
