Handwoven in southern Persia, this carpet showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of the Afshar tribe. The central field is adorned with striking solar Turkaman guls, complemented by an array of traditional tribal symbols. Made entirely from soft wool — both for the foundation and the pile — the carpet has a distinctively supple, floppy texture.
Three well-balanced borders elegantly frame the design, enhancing its overall harmony. Remarkably, no restorations were found, and the carpet remains in excellent condition.
